Tuesday, October 9: Kettle Creek SP, Pennsylvania
I took my sweet old time getting up today. There were otters playing in the water this morning. Apparently there’s a whole family of them that inhabit the lake farther upstream. It was awesome. That was as about as exciting as the day was. I wrote a few notes and drove into to town for a few groceries. I made a warm dinner of rice and veggies before turning in early for some much needed rest. I was so busy in New York that I didn’t really get a chance to rest. In the morning I’m heading to West Branch State Park in Ohio.
