I left really early today to head out west to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It was pitch black and I had frost on my car, but it as going to be another long drive so I had to get on the road. Yesterday I drove through Custer and got to see the Needles Highway at sunset and this morning I got to drive through the Black Hills at sunrise, another beautiful drive.
As I drove farther west into Wyoming, the weather was getting colder and the mountains were topped with snow. It was breathtaking and I don’t have enough words too express the beauty that was all around with me. There was about eight inches of snow covering the ground on the side of the road, I wanted to hop out of my car and make a snowman!
When I arrived in Jackson, it started snowing and I was so happy. I hadn’t been in the snow in about 10 years. I checked into the Jackson Hole Lodge, turned on the heat and made myself cozy for the night.
