Sunday, October 21: GO RED SOX!!!

Today was more of a chill day for me. Yellowstone was finally open, but the wind chill was in the teens and I didn't really want to be hiking in that weather. So, I took the day to explore Jackson and take part of some of the local trails that were available. My day wasn't all that exciting but my night sure was.

I was all set to go for the final game between the Red Sox and the Indians, this game was going to decide who went to the World Series. It was so intense, every time the Sox scored a run, the Indians would counter to close the gap my a run or two. Finally, Boston started putting up more runs and were shutting down the Indians when they were up to bat. I was so excited I could hardly contain my excitement...I was even jumping on my bed. Haha. The final score was 11-2 Boston, but the game was heart-wrenchingly close for the first seven innings. The Sox scored their final eight runs in the last two at-bats. Wowsa!

So, we're in the World Series and will face the Colorado Rockies at Fenway on Wednesday night. No matter where I am at that time, I will find a TV with the game, put on my Red Sox shirt and ball cap and root for my team to the point of laryngitis. I heart you Sox!!! :)
