Saturday, October 6: New York City

Jason and I kicked off the morning with some tasty coffee and cream puffs at a little bakery next to his apartment before heading out to meet some people for lunch. Jason’s friends were highly entertaining as they told me some of the things I should check out while I was in town.

We walked through Central Park and visited the Apple Store. The entrance is a glass cube with the suspended Apple logo and you have to go down a spiral staircase to get into it. The store is actually underground and the only thing you can see at street level is the glass cube. It was so cool, but completely crowded. I bounced around from station to station playing with all of the fun apple toys before heading back with Jason. We decided to hang out and watch a movie before heading to Splash for the next football party. Here I met two of Jeff’s San Diego friends, Jeff and Felippe, whom I have decide are my favorite gay couple. They are just some of the nicest people I have ever met and I made them promise that we would all get together when I get to San Diego later in my trip.

After a nice little dinner, we went back to the bar and I continued making some new friends. The boys were very intrigued about there being a girl amongst all the gay men. I had a blast because I didn’t have to worry about any of them trying to get into my pants. They told me I was gorgeous and some joked about me being the kind of girl they would go straight for. LOL. I just love my gay men. :D
