August 15, 2008: Philadelphia
Today I landed in Philly. My flight was at the butt crack of dawn and I had to be at the airport at 5am, ugh! Anywho, I'm all settled into my little hotel room, complete with mini fridge and microwave (score) and I'm ready to hit the streets tomorrow. The Franklin Institute has the King Tut and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs exhibit going on right now and it's the exhibit from the 70's with a ton more pieces. I'm headed there early tomorrow morning and I think I'm going to run the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art "Rocky-style" on Friday. So many choices, so excited!!!!
I'll let you all know when I find the greatest Philly cheese steak of all time...mmmmm, yummy! :)
