Ah, I'm already slacking on my blog! I thought I did a quick entry the other night, but it looks like I didn't actually post it. oh well. Let me catch everyone up...
I managed to handle my Fable withdrawal pretty well, I only dreamed about the game the night before I left Jax for North Carolina. And let me just say this in case anyone from the state department of South and North Carolina ends up reading this...allocate some of your budget to repaving some of the roads, they jacked up my alignment! :) That and the fact that it rained the entire seven hours of the drive, super sucky.
I just spent the last four days in Greenville, North Carolina with my friends Casey and Jamie and I had a blast. I felt like I had my own deluxe suite in their gorgeous house. Damn, I should've taken a picture. Oh well.
It was awesome to see them again and hang out, which was awesome. They're very chill and laid back, just my style. And they taught me how to play Scat, which I ultimately lost to Jamie. Whatever, you're going down next time Jamie, LOL!!
Last night, we went over to their friends house for a UFC Pay Per View fight, my first fight ever. It was awesome...and it was in hi-def so the splattering blood was vivid as elbows and hammer fist were planted to the face. Crazy, I may have to check it out again. Hehe.
Time flew by there and I was sad to leave them, but I did challenge Casey to some Ping Pong the next time I see him. Haha, it's on Casey!!!
Now, I'm in Raleigh for a couple days before I head north staying with my buddy Rich. It'll be nice to see him again before moving on. I'm either going to Jersey for a quick stop or straight onto New York City...we'll see. It's a long drive straight through to New York, so I may end up camping for a night along the way instead of rushing it.
Not the most interesting entry here, I know, but at least you guys know where I am now. And I still haven't had to use my taser, which is a good thing, but I still want to "test it out" on someone. Then again, Rich says he sleepwalks, so the chance may arise after all! :D
