Plans, plans and more plans

Wowsa, I've been a VERY busy girl lately. I've been planning the next big road trip anf that's been sucking up tons of time. getting all my camping gear lined up, checking out the campsite options from state to state and trying to finalize some plans for visiting the extended fam up in the New England have been both exhausting and exciting. In the meantime, mom is freaking out about me traveling alone. So......to appease her I looked into some additional self protection and even looked into the gun laws and certification. Did you know that if you have a concealed weapons license from the state of Florida that the license is valid in several other states?! I think the number is somewhere between 28 and 31 but I'm not sure. Crazy.

Anywho, I'm not getting a gun. Instead, I bought a one million volt stun gun. Seriously, it will take someone down and keep them writhing with pain. I asked the guy at the shop if it would keep someone down long enough for me to beat the piss out of them and he laughed at me and said yes! And then he fired back with "I wouldn't bother beating them up, just keep stunning them over and over." Too freaking funny. Then another young guy in the store kept trying to convince me to just buy a gun because they have more range and he wasn't quite understanding the fact that it would take me at least five to six weeks to obtain my state license and that I didn't have that kind of time. All in all it was quite the adventure perusing through the rows of camo, rifle scopes and all of the actual guns in the cases. Oh, and did I mention the name of the stun gun is "Whoop Ass?" I kid you not, it has chinese lettering on the side of it and everything.

That's about all that's new with me for the moment. Just wanted to let you all know what was up with me. And for all my Jax peeps, I'll be seeing you in a couple weeks!
