Okay, so today is Friday, July 27, and I'm sure it has become painfully clear that I, have some major issues with keeping this damn blog up-to-date. I would like to plead my argument brierfly here and state that it's not entirely my fault!
• I tried typing them in the car while we made our way from one destination the the next, but the glare sucked and I couldn't see shit. Instead, I made notes about each day in my book in the hopes of writing them up later.
• Writing them up that evening didn't happen because I was on tent and fire duty and then I was just dog ass tired.
• When we did FINALLY find an internet connection, I had to make sure that we had an appropriate route to our next location and I had freelance files to download...after days of this and my mounting frustration, Sara took over. There was little to no time for blogging.
So here I sit, in a coffee shop in San Diego with a WiFi connection that is shaky at best for the moment, to say "What's up my peeps?!" There are a lot more tasty little morsels from my cross country trek and I will tackle them the best I can. As a supplement for the total lack of communication over the past few weeks, I've decided that a quick calendar rundown from the past few weeks with the Cliff's Notes version of the day will do just fine.
